The classic CBR, also known as a captive bead ring, can be used on a wide variety of body parts. The clasp is a ball that is clamped between the opening of the ring. It has two small indentations on both sides so that it can snap into the ring opening. Depending on the size of the ring, it may require a special tool (Ring opening plier) to release the ball before insertion and to clamp it again after insertion.
